Verizon loves that pricepoint for LTE.
16 GB plus 16 card = 32 same price as an Iphone 32 or just add $30 for the card
Headphones would cost from $120 to $150

So not the deal of the week... But not a bad deal.

ill be waiting for one to hit craigslist for about $200-300. im not due for an upgrade until 2013.

most likely there will be some type of rebate when it drops also. most likely $50.

I agree with you, my workout ear buds went out so I'm using ones in backpack I use for travel. Free Beats would be nice!

Here's my solution to my Galaxy Nexus/Rezound debacle.....I'm getting both. I'll get both of the devices, have them charged to my Verizon account, and just take back whichever one I don't feel like keeping, and just pay the $35 restocking fee.

you will need 2 eligible lines.. and sometimes they dont let you charge new releases to your account...

I see a HUGE problem here. You're gonna like 'em both! :D

You can also buy the retail.
This is what I did when the Bionic and Bold came out for verizon. Bought one on contract, one off contract. Both under the same number. Ended up returning both, got money money refunded, paid the restocking fees, and still got to keep my upgrade. Still can't decide what to use the upgrade on...

You know that the rezound will be out before the gnex. So pick it up at Best Buy because of their more liberal return policy, and if you don't like it exchange it for the gnex when it comes out.
Think that's what I'm gonna do.

I'm not really digging the $299 price tag, but that seems to be the new going rate if you want the best out there.

Since I don't have an LTE device, are you able to purchase a phone like this and then not activate 4G? I have no desire to pay the extra $$ for 4G since I'm on WiFi most of the time, but would really like cool features like Beats and an HD screen. I have an upcoming upgrade and this phone is very tempting.

Unless something has changed (which would make me mad) Verizon doesn't charge extra for LTE - 3G and 4G data plans are the same.

Just to confirm, data prices are data prices. No difference between 1x, 3g, or 4g. Its all data dude, and it all cost the same.

Unfortunately yes.. you can always hope your employer qualifies for some kind if discount. I tend to get $50 off of the 4G devices and anything Motorola.
