Got mine already, only downside and probably will be a downside for every phone i buy from htc from now on is the lack of metal kickstand . I love it in my thunderbolt and almost didnt upgrade because of it.. Anyone else miss the kickstand?

I'm 99% buying one, just not yet weighing my upgrade vs full retail options (more than one phone I want and only one upgrade available). I played with one of these babys today and man is it powerful!

Because I'm returning my RAZR because I'm weak and had to have a phone Friday (my wifes Droid died, and we needed a phone THAT day due to having 2 kids and weird work hours). Well... going to eat the 35 return, and get a Rezound.

Bye bye RAZR and accessories. Hello Rezound.

Maybe my Verizon friend can hook me up w/o a return fee.

Umm, yes. I went from the Thunderbolt to the Bionic and greatly miss the kickstand. The kickstand may be the most underrated feature on the phone. Having said that, the wife loves the Thunderbolt and my kids use the 'bolt to watch cartoons while eating breakfast. They also love the kickstand!

I'm surprised more phones don't come with one. It's a feature you don't know you need until you have it.

I had 5 Bolts & 1 Bionic ..... HAPPY

I'll get mine on Wednesday & will report.

Got mine on Saturday. I took mine off the charger at 10:30 this morning and its 7:15 now and I still have 68%. That’s with moderate use “calls, texting, lite surfing, and playing with the phone”. I have been conditioning the battery since I picked it up on Sat.

Wow, I just don't get this. You won't buy a top of the line smartphone with all it has because they left of a little piece of metal on a hinge that makes it stand up horizontally?

Amazing....

How did you get it for $249? I try to upgrade on the website and it gives me a $299 price.

I havent checked yet for the RAZR or Rezound but I usually get $50 off of any Motorola or LTE device because of my emoloyer, but ONLY in the store (haven't tried telesales yet).

i got mine for 249 as well, battery is great, miss my kickstand and will get a case with kickstand if at all possible as long as it doesnt add bulk or kill the speaker. Your right it def is the most underrated option on the bolt and if they ever make a thunderbolt2 with beats audio built in, I will honestly upgrade to that phone the day it comes out. I wanted this vigor from the moment it was mentioned, but for almost 8 months I followed the progress of the incredible hd aka mecca which then got stuffed with a 4g chipset and ruined and right now I dont regret my purchase but i miss holding my thunderbolt. Its sad to form emotional attachments to phones, but I do.

but thankfully with a 4g sim card I get to pop it in and turn it on anytime I like- thank you verizon

I just ordered mine on the phone. It was $249 when trying to upgrade on the site (probably some sort of corporate discount) but my $30 loyalty discount would not go through so I had to call. The phone rep could not figure out how or why it came up as $249 for me so I ended up paying $299 - $30 and he took an additional $50 off my first bill. $219 - not a bad deal!

Now off to search online for screen protectors and cases. This is going to be interesting upgrading from the Palm Pre Plus. This phone is massive so I am more likely to drop the thing.

Upgraded yesterday from my Palm Pre Plus and you're right, it's considerably bigger! I have to two-hand it to hit the power/wakeup button at the top. BUT, I am really loving the big screen and crisp display.

I'm still getting it set up (and getting the Pre cleared off so my little guy can play Angry Birds on it) and getting used to the downswipe instead of the upswipe. And I'm missing leaving cards open and flipping quickly through them while doing something else. I suppose it can be done, I just haven't figured it out yet.

To me, the camera is WAY better, and I'm getting better reception. I'll miss webOS, but it's time to move on.
