-Beautiful Widgets for the clock and weather
-Minimalistic Text for the Battery Percentage

Beautiful Widgets has an option for hiding the background on their widgets... you can also change text color.

Came across a very similar setup, decided to adopt & adapt...

Apex Launcher - (replaced system icons with MetroStation Icon pack)
Beautiful Widget - (weather information)
Minimalist Text - (time / date)
Tiwiz ICS Search Bar - (for the clear Google search bar)

Switched from Nils' Sense 3.6 Business ROM (best battery life, phone runs very cool but weak wifi on my end) to Viper (great rom but phone runs hot and battery life suffers greatly) to the NeoMAX rom (v1.4 atm) which is what you see below. It seems to strike the best balance between wifi/cell reception, smoothness and battery life tho it does have a few minor bugs here and there that mostly could be fixed by simply reinstalling an app or wiping its cache/data (think tonight's build should fix that out of the gate).

I used Picspeed Wallpapers for my background and used Picsay Pro to overlay my son's picture onto it.

These are the two screens to the left of my home screen.

I also use Display Brightness widget. You can place it anywhere on the screen and easily have a slide control for brightness. It can be set to fade away after a few seconds. Also you can set it not to activate until you hold down for a second, in case you're always bumping by mistake. They also make a Volume Control widget with the same features.

It's football season. I keep all my Sense clock and apps in a 4 x 2 block in the upper half so as not to block the logo.

I'd love to know how to post the full size on this site.

I don't know if it's the only way but I use photobucket to host the pictures and then use the forum [IMG] photobucket link [/IMG] commands (no spaces after [IMG] and no spaces before [/IMG]
