No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
I bought this phone the 1st day it was available at Verizon. The reception is 10 times better than my old Incredible 2, GPS is lightning fast, call quality is second to none, screen is brilliantly sharp, and with the extended life battery, power supply lasts all day. I see so many people saying this is their "temporary" phone until the Nexus is released. When the Rezound gets ICS, this phone will be the whole package.
Just wanted to voice my love for the Rezound! - 11-30-2011, 10:57 AM #2
Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
I completely agree with you. I'm not holding my breath for ICS anytime soon, but I have no reasons to return for the Nexus, at this point.
How much bulk does the extended battery add? I like the size and profile with the stock battery. I had to add the extended battery to my Droid Inc and hated how much it added to the thickness of the phone. - 11-30-2011, 11:01 AM #3
I love my rezound. Once its rooted and gets cm9, it'll be perfect. I'm nervous as to what HTC plans to do with ice cream sandwhich. I hope they tone down sense.

I am also loving my phone. I have no plans to exchange.

Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
Yeah I'm digging this too. I just want permanent root so I can get rid of the bloatware and get a couple apps. But other than that, I'm good. Getting battery life better than expected with 4G on. I think the size is just perfect.

I agree I had the raze and by far the rezound is far superior all around. I just hope ice cream sandwich comes soon.

Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
I'm with everyone here. Bought a launch day device and haven't looked back. This is simply the best piece of tech that I've ever held in my hand. It's the right size and weight for me, the screen is simply amazing and like the OP said the call quality is really leaps and bounds above anything I've ever had before.
What bothers me though is that even VZW corporate reps didn't even the phone released on the 14th. Some of them didn't even know what it was. The RAZR has gotten so much media attention just because it's thin it's sickening. The Rezzy is by far the better, more ergonomic phone whilst being almost twice the thickness. Imagine that.Even Crackberry addiction can be broken with just a little Android Love... - 11-30-2011, 12:57 PM #9
Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
The power button protrusion or lack thereof is my only complaint so far. Palm Pre spoiled me there.

Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
My single complaint about the Rezound is the bloat. That's it.
I had the Droid Charge, Razr, and Bionic all sitting in my VZW.com cart with all my information filled in, all I had to press was that final button to submit my order, but I kept thinking "I should wait for the Nexus." I dismissed HTC's announcement entirely, just because I heard such negatives about the Thunderbolt, and because HTC earned my scorn by being the last to announce, yet releasing phone after phone in the UK. (That HTC Rhyme for the U.S.? What a joke!)
Finally, I realized me wanting a $300 piece of hardware specifically for the OS was about as ridiculous as tossing out my current computer so that I could get one with Windows 8 on it instead.
I love the screen, the beats earbuds, the call quality, and even the battery life is ok in my book (judging by the current, standard 4G battery life).
I'm glad I got this phone, it's the best phone I've ever owned. When some talented devs manage to port ICS over to this, I'll actually want to keep this phone for longer than my 2 year contract commitment, and that's a first for me. - 11-30-2011, 01:13 PM #11
Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
That's what she said... LOL.
But seriously, all jokes aside, I'm LOVING This phone too. I had the Thunderbolt, a Droid 2, Droid X, Droid 3 & Droid X2 before this, and though I love the durability and battery life of Motorola Devices, IMO, the Rezound gets it right across the board. Best of all, I was able to get it for 1 cent (plus the cost of service, etc...) on Amazon.
VERY HAPPY CAMPER HERE!Livin La Vida NOTA!!!

Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
Its a nice phone but nothing is perfect. I like the razr it's fast and has a cloud based system and i think that is nice. But the screen is not hd and not as sharp as the rezound screen has less saturation in general I like this for a tv or movie but on a phone samoled rules imo. The camera is finally nice on the rezound its very sharp sharper than any phone I have seen but it's color saturation is off nothing photo shop can't change unlike shapness. This is a very nice phone imo and once ics arrives it will be even better. I would have to say all in all this phone between the three is the best compromise in specs.

Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
I had the Droid X and I too LOVED the durability of it. But this phone is by far much better!! I love the design and the screen is awesome!
My only complaint is that it is easily broken or dented etc. I dropped it last week and my battery cover got bent pretty good. I will eventually buy a new cover but it was a bummer. I dropped my X many times and never even got a dent or scratch.X to Rezound to Galaxy S3 - 11-30-2011, 06:18 PM #17
I got the bionic the day it came out and I am glad I ditched it for the Rezound.

Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
I wanted to pick one up while at staples today to feel the size.
I have a DINC since launch and used the stock rom and was rooted.
I just put cm7 on and love it. Just don't know if I like adw over the folders option on Go Launcher.
I just want to see the weight difference which I know is big, between the rezound and my dinc. Bummed. - 11-30-2011, 08:11 PM #21
Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
I love it as well!! It takes awesome pictures and videos and I work in Philadelphia and get great 4G signal and it's fast as hell. The music with Beats sounds great and I'm getting between 8 to 9 hours of battery life. Once ICS gets on this I'll keep it longer for more than 2 years. I can't see me needing a phone that does more than this phone does!!

I Have had the thunderbolt since the day it came out. It's been a little bit of an adventure. Nice to see HTC getting back on track.

Re: No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.
haha Well with 3 kids it sometimes gets dropped w/o my intention! But really I only dropped my X maybe 3 times in 16 months! I dropped my Rezound while I was walking my dog! It was stupid, I was trying to download a app to track my walking and my dog yanked on my hand!
