rezound issues

i keep having problems with the touch screen responsivness on my rezound at the lock screen and when i use the stock music player sometimes it does the no file can be found... And at times it feels hot... Does all this warrent a new rezound

The Rezound will sometimes feel hot. That is pretty normal. I have not experienced an unresponsive screen. What do you specifically mean by unresponsive.

At the lock screen ill try slide my password and it doesnt work so i have to hit the power button till it works and the music issue bugs me big time.. Keep in mind i never had that problem with the bionic and my screen isnt dirty

I wouldn't worry about the heat until it hits the neighborhood of 130, for an exrended length of time. Shut ot down immediately for 140. Based on the unresponsiveness, you should go swap it out for the touchscreen, though. Mine hasn't skipped a beat, even with a screen protector. Don't use mine that often for music but I haven't encountered the issue you cited.

I did have the issues where my resound was getting hot, and cutting off. I took it back to Verizon and they exchanged it for a new one and I have not had that problem anymore, so I say take it back.

I would take it back......I exchanged mine for similar issues and my new one seems ok

I got mine the day after yours. I got the razor on bf, didn't like it and took it back to exchange for the rezound. Then did the other exchange about two weeks after that because of it getting hot.

I got mine a week before Christmas and it had problems ....doesn't hurt to swap it out just make sure the new phone doesn't have problems before leaving the store

Being hot? Not necessarily.

The touchscreen should always be responsive. If you are having issues with that I would take it back and exchange it for a new one. If you are getting "no file can be found" on any stock app, that is not normal either. (Unless you rooted and messed with system files...)

Yeah...normal heat should be below 100F. If the CPU is working hard or you have high ambient temps you might see in the 120s or even 130s, but no higher.

Battery Widget has a mode that will show temperature in real time:

Mine is sitting on my desk at 87.5F right now.

Ditto what has already been said about the battery temps... I too have noticed the issue with the Stock Music player showing no files found when I select an album, etc. If I go back out to the list of albums, and select it again, everything shows up fine. I just figured it was a quirk of the htc music player.

Well verizon is delievering my new rezound tomorrow so hopefully there wont be anymore issues i do love this phone and dont want any other phone

HTC Rezound: Anyone else have a problem sending emails? Can send and email but cannot recieve.

....and Yes, ATT tech confirms the email server settings are ok. Tech think it's a hardware issue.

I think the source of random heating on the phone is "notify me when WIFI is available" go to settings and make sure its not check.
