No mobile network after unlock and root

Curious but now I have no mobile network after shutting down, pulling the battery and replacing the ext_sd card.

I sometimes get 1X or just X indicator but never get any bars or the 3G/4G indicators. Can't make or receive any calls.

Did I miss something? Was working for 2 days and have done a restart and also did a shutdown and then restarted without removing the battery or sd card.

Not sure what now... Any ideas?


EDIT: Well, humpf. Never mind, shut down and then started again and now it's working. Not sure what the problem was but appears it was delayed (20 mins??) connecting or unable to connect for some reason. But it has now.

I've actually been having poor data service the past 2 days, but I've been rooted for a month or more.

EDIT: Battery pull and reseating my SIM seems to have fixed the problem...
