Interesting issue with my Rezound -

Last night my screen was covered with horizontal blue flickering lines whenever I touched it. It was opaque, and went away after a few seconds. Once and a while, it would go completely blue. I re-booted the phone and the problem dissapeared. I haven't been able to replicate it today.

Any thoughts on this?

I was sure it was a hardware issue, but a re-boot solved the problem and it hasn't come back yet.

Anyone have a similar issue on a phone?

Sounds like a short or just general screen issue. If it happens again take it back to where you got it from and get a new one.

Weird issue, possibly a 1st report on the Rezound? I certainly haven't read a similar post in any other forums, yet. What were you doing when it first triggered?

I've had a similar problem happen twice since Nov. The screen doesn't respond to touch and I had to cycle power to fix. I don't think there was a common trigger.

It sounds like an issue w/ 1 or more of the rgb color capacitators. I'm not sure what specifics are in HTC LCD touchscreen tech. for their phones though. I'm thinking it has something to do with the hardware that handles the tasks of the color capacitators. It's not a common issue so it's not worth putting with a third time. I'd say return that thing, it may frittz out for good @ an inopportune moment, better safe than sorry, right?
