Default I pulled the trigger, now I have some questions

So I jumped from a DX to the GN, to the Bionic, and today I walked away from the store with a Rezound. I think this is it. I've used elements of Sense on other phones courtesy of LauncherPro and Android Pro Widgets so for the most part I am ok with it. But I have a few questions:

    1. Flashlight app, is there one that anyone would recommend?

    2. CDMA / LTE toggle widget to recommend?

    3. Any way to get 5 rows of icons?

    4. Has anyone installed another launcher over sense like Go Launcher? Did it work out for you or did you go back to stock?

    5. When creating folders, is it possible to change the color or icon for a folder? I admit that was spoiled by ICS and then Go Launcher with the creation of folders.

    6. Keyboard- is there any way to change the long press duration like you can with SwiftKey?

    Thanks.

If you want ICS then unlocking, install custom recovery and root. Then install CleanROM 2.1 ICS or SenselessROM ICS

I can wait for the for the official update. So no big rush on the folder issues. In fact my questions are really minor sticking points.

There is no real best flashlight app. I use an app called extended controls, which is a toggle app that does quite a bit. It has a flashlight toggle, and I prefer that, no actual separate app.

There is no LTE toggle yet, just an app that takes you direct to the radio settings. Sorry, don't remember the name.

If you didn't want to install go launcher, again, I suppose you could use extended controls to make a quasi- 4x5, or probably up to 4x7 row of icons (you can put apps on the toggles)

Go Launcher works well I thought. There is enough ram on the rezound to take both launchers at the same time.

Don't know about folders. I liked go launcher so much, I actually have it running on my ICS rom, as there are some insane things they left out, or I can't figure out how to working on my rom. Biggest is the home screen not rotating, and no way for shortcuts to be added. I'm waiting for Nova Launcher to work for the rezound, as it force closes everytime I get in the app drawer, it's not out of beta yet, so I'll be patient.

    Thanks.
Here is the HTC Flashlight app that has been modded for the Rezound.

    It works great.
Also there are a couple of very stable ICS roms.

Great. Thanks. I guess the only thing remaining out of that list that is really bugging me is the long press delay time on the keyboard. From going through the phone it looks like the only way to manipulate that time is to go with SwiftKey.

Try Launcher 7 as a possible launcher for your Rezound. I love SwiftKey.

I missed the flashlight on my Thunderbolt. I found Tiny Flashlight & LED in the Market and like it very much.

Got a couple of more questions.

Battery mode. I changed to from high performance to normal. When I did this it seemed to cause my Gmail to no longer sync. Is this a known issue

When I want to ignore a call, on other phones all I had to do was hit the ignore button and a window appeared that allowed me to send an auto text message (I.e. Im busy right now and will call you back, etc..). I thought I had that enabled under settings, but I'm not seeing it. Any ideas as to what I'm missing?

As far as battery mode, it's not an issue, it's a power saver setting. High performance will sync in background while in use. Normal means you configure the sync settings. Economy is manual sync updating.

When you recieve an incoming call, when the phone menu pops up. Hit the menu cap. button, Click on "send message". The call is rejected and you are then able to compose a quick sms to send to that caller. I haven't tried it or checked it out, yet. Just know it's there.

Ok dialer related question...When using the dialer to dial the tones are long and drawn out and I cant just dial a as number quickly as I could on other phones. I have looked in the setting and don't see an option to reduce the length of the tone or make the key pad more responsive.
