    Default Who's lovin' their Rezound?

If you read this and other similar forums, you read a lot about problems people are having. I assume this is the minority, right?

If you think your Rezound is just great, post a comment here.

I mean no problems with the recent update, no overheating, no major issues with battery life (with or without the extended battery, reception is working out fine and smooth everyday operations. Root or rootless.

No phone is perfect but I'm talking about overall.

I have a stock Rezound using the stock battery and my OTA update went fine. Reception is fine (in Phoenix, so that helps). The bloatware doesn't seem to be getting in my way (although it's stupid). This phone is earning my love.

HELL'S TO THE YES I LOVE IT!!

Nils' Gingersense v1.5 is the bomb diggity. It runs so smooth I'm loathe to mess with it by flashing one of the ICS ROMs...but who am I kidding, I flash, therefore I am.

This may sound petty but I really wish they would've released the Rezound as the HTC Vigor. I really dug that codename when I heard it, even though I had no plans on buying it, at the time. Aside from the boot loop issue going unaddressed I can't really say anything against the phone. I probably would if I was still stuck w/ the bloat and heavy on the Sense UI, though. For me, the only thing that I really dislike is the instabilty of Big Reds 4g data service, especiallly, since the last outage but that's really got nothing to do w/ the device itself.

I wish they released it as the Incredible HD.

Talk about great marketing....the Dinc had almost like a cult type following.

I tend to think most of us Dinc guys ended up with this phone anyway.

    I am loving my Rezound

I absolutely LOVE this phone! I had a blackberry until I had some hands-on time with a Droid Incredible. That phone did so many of the things that my blackberry just didn't do. I really became a fan of HTC's build quality and Sense. When the time came to root my Incredible I found myself missing many of the things that Sense brought to the experience and had to dig around until I found nils business gingersense.

So when my upgrade came up the Rezound had already been out for a couple of months and the nexus was just around the corner I knew I was going to have a tough decision. Did I stick with the company that brought me to android or change it up and switch to a new, unfamiliar device? After a few trips to a verizon store to actually see each one up close the decision became clear. The rezound won out without much deliberation.

I must be really lucky because I get great reception in my calls. No static, no hiss, and no dropping. The OTA didn't create any new issues, in fact it noticeably fixed most of the issues I had to begin with. I have been keeping my phone on LTE the last few days and the battery life is still great for me. After 12 hours today I was at 50% and that was with what I would consider average use (emails, texts, browser, etc...).

I can't say much about the audio quality compared to other phones, I can compare it to my Incredible and say that the Rezound sounds MUCH better. And I'm with the other poster, I would have preferred to be carrying a Vigor as opposed to a Rezound, but I think it says a lot when the few complaints I have are with the name and the amount of bloatware that VZW stuck on it.

I'm waiting to root until I see what the ICS update brings, but if it compares at all to what I have experienced so far I know it will only make this phone that much better!

I LOVE it! I missed my Incredible and insanely bought another brand in September... I picked up the Rezound on Friday! Dinc on steroids! Tiny complaints: No LED for texts received, will make email alert sound every few minutes for POP mail received, and the volume control is too flush against the phone. These are very minor things, though.... and I really am very happy and comfortable with the phone! (PS STAY AWAY from the Bionic... that's a piece of trash!)

Love this phone! I didn't think I would, but kept ready how peeps on here loved it so I had to check it out. Glad I did. I usually switch phones about every 6 months. This one I can see keeping for over a year, maybe more. It's that good.

I do have a few issues, but I love my Rezound. I am a former Droid X user ... the glitchiest phone I'd ever owned.

Love the phone. Only complaints are how flush the power and volume buttons are and the bloatware. Other than that, the screen is beautiful, camera is awesome, haven't had a single data issue, phone is snappy.

I love this phone. It just plain works. I had a Droid X and I just couldn't go with another Motorola after that hot mess. This phone is boring, I never have to mess with it.

I really do not understand what everyone's problem is with the power and volume buttons being too flush. I have no problem at all when trying to press them, and love having them flush since I never accidentally press them.

It is rather flush with the top of the phone so it's hard to press it. I have to hook my thumb on the bottom of the phone and reach with my index finger across the screen to turn it on, if I don't want to use both hands. Add to it a phone case, and that button is even harder to press. Other than that, nice looking phone.

Try holding the phone in the middle of your hand supported by the pinky and ring finger with your thumb riding the outer edge. Press with your index finger.

I love the rezound. The most thing i was surprised about it was how good the camera is. Fast auto focus and fast shutter speed in daylight. I am getting shots that i could not get with my cannon point and shoot camera. The beats headphones sound like crap unless u get a app eq then they sound real good.

I love my Rezound!! I came from a Droid X and this phone has blown that one completely out of the water. This is my first HTC phone and I am very impressed. I love Sense 3.5. Overall awesome!

The power button is not a problem for me, but the volume button is very difficult for me to get down.
I'm sure I'll get used to it...
    Otherwise, FANTASTIC phone!

Not sure what case you guys are using, but I have the silicone one from Verizon and it works pretty well as far as ease of use for the buttons. The lip on the case is fairly distinct for the volume rocker, and the power button is cut out and exposed unlike how the incredible was.

I can't say that I love this phone, but I am overall satisfied with it. The power button does annoy me. The Calendar widget frustrates me in that I cannot eaisly switch to an agenda view within the widget, and there are places where I feel that Sense are a bit too heavy for my tastes. I think the contacts are a bit clunk to move through and the native email app suffers similar UI problems. But that is a personal taste issue. I'm sure it works for others. In the end though, I am satisfied.
