I recently picked up an HTC Rezound and it seems that every time it scans for an .m3u playlist it refuses to add to the playlist then it deletes the file itself. I'm using the stock player (since it has the Beats audio).
I did some research and apparently if the phone finds an .m3u file that is empty it will delete the file. However, these files are not empty and have several songs attached to them (I checked the text and it's formatted correctly). One solution was to put a dummy file called .nomedia so that the player would not scan that directory, but all that does is ignore the directly with the playlist entirely.
On my Droid X I just made playlists into .m3u files and transferred them over. From there all the music players picked them up as playlists properly. Unfortunately this bug won't let me do that on the Rezound. Is there a solution to this?
