So I just wanna get a jump on this. Seeing that it looks like ICS may be official, I wanna start complaining about not getting Jelly Bean already.

We won't be getting it until 5th quarter 2015,

I HATE VERIZON......GET ME MY UPDATES

HTC is the worst phone manufacturer ever.

If the One X Alpha (all things awesome have alpha in the name) gets JB, why not us? I mean we have the same screen, just a bit less RAM and the S3 can handle it.

IF I DON"T GET JB NEXT WEEK, I'M NEVER BUYING AN HTC PHONE AGAIN!!!! I'M GONNA GO TO PANTECH

What else?

I swear, if I don't get the JB update soon, I'M GONNA CLUB THIS BABY SEAL.

Ha ha..pretty funny man. It's funny cause it's true. I have no doubt a fairly close approximation of this exact "non-rant" will appear for rizzle somewhere in this forum after official ICS does arrive. And I think I've seen that baby seal threat somewhere before.....

I actually expect to get jelly bean. It's coming this year and we get 18 months of updates. Not to mention the hardware requirements won't be too demanding.

haha sorry about that. Freaking HTC!!! I swear, they are full of crap. We have the hardware but they won't give us JB because they're lazy jerks. I HATE YOU HTC!

Just hope that expecting in 18 months doesn't tranalate to completely disappointed in 18 months.

Now I do not know all the in's and out's but part of why I am excited for the OTA for ICS is so the devs can get there hands on the actual kernal, would probably be in same boat with Jelly Bean Roms so very cool and appealing but not ultimate happy happy joy joy.

a leaked version may not be to far off, Google's next tablet is going to have JB installed, it was covered in a tech news report on TV this morning.

Starting with Jelly Bean, Verizon will be charging a $49.99 convenience fee for updates. For just $99.99 you can get the update when it is ready, rather then when they release it.

Haha. It's suppose to be much faster, so you'll get "webpage not available" much quicker when data drops on the Nexus.

I haven't dropped data since I got this phone. I'm lucky that way I guess. Or I got it after the radios were fixed.
