battery help

Battery drains.pretty fast. Just got the phone.today via trade. Seems like it drains a ton when.its asleep. Any info or ideas? WiFi off Bluetooth off 4g off. Help

since you just got the phone, have you done a factory reset? also, you said it drains fast when asleep...how fast?

I traded a guy for this phone so it isn't brand New. But I did do a factory reset. Sometines it drains like 5% in like 20 minutes. Sometimes it does and sometimes not. It's on 3g

go to the wireless and settings, and make sure to choose cdma only.

might have several apps doing a lot of background syncing.

This is a very long thread to refer you to, but its mine when I was having extreme battery drain issues on my brand new Rezound. I vented here and wound up with some great help and now my battery life is pretty amazing. Although, that may change with the 4G that just became available in my area and I just found it on my Rezound tonight. So, I'm in test mode running on 4G w/o wi-fi right now. Anwyay ... here's the thread;
