HUGE Metroid fan. I've played and beat every one that's been made.

Metroid is a console seller to me, I've purchased consoles solely for these games.

I like Metroid as much as the other 35 year olds. But I liked this setting even more than the original:

Thanks for making me feel old. I haven't seen some of those characters in 20 years, what a trip, man. If only I would've realized learning to program the games would've been far more enterprising than playing them as a growing lad.

@Dovahkiin, the OP, are you the dev or are you just showing us something cool you found? If you're the dev, I have one suggestion. It'd be great if the widget did something when you touch it, like maybe take you to the "Battery Use" screen or something similarly useful.

Not trying to be critical because I love the widget. Just making a suggestion.

I wish I was talented enough to be a dev, but alas, I am but a mere peon trying to spread the word of a cool widget I enjoy in order to help it get some traction/attention.

Edit: Hold your mouse or "dev" and the full word comes up. Pretty cool. I wonder if it works for other words. Like if I wrote ICS, or lol. What about Moto?

Like a Super Metroid theme'd launcher? SWEET! (I assume that would have to be a launcher.)

I was going to ask if anyone else has experienced bugs with this widget. Mine stopped updating for a few days. I had to remove the widget, stop the running service and the cached process, and then put it back to get it to work again.

But yesterday, I got an update to this widget that fixed the problem

FYI, my phone (Evo 3D) had been really slow in the last month or so. I finally realized that this Super Metroid battery widget was the culprit. I uninstally it and everything sped back it. I'm surprised because my battery monitor never show it using much CPU time. I don't know. But things definitely sped back up when I uninstalled it.

Has anyone else had problems?
