Guyz,

I hope I'm posting this total noob question in the right forum. I just got my phone today.

I found the on-line HTC manual but I'm not sure whether to use the app on the Verizon site for pictures and video or to get HTC Sync from HTC. The HTC app seems to be all inclusive. I'm afraid the Verizon app will be lame too.

I searched the web and this forum but didn't find anything specific about this issue.

Please advise.

Edit: The local Verizon store told me that I could only dl apps to my phone, not via PC. That right?

Yes and no on your EDIT. Sometimes, depending on the source, you can download the app to your PC then move it to your phone via USB or wifi. The app won't run on your PC (more than likely) so going straight to your phone cuts out the middleman.

I use dropbox for moving pictures back and forth. I take a picture it automatically moves it to Dropbox as a backup. I move pictures to my dropbox folder on my PC and I can pull them up on my phone.
