I see the appeal of being guaranteed an OS update and never having to deal with bloat or rooting and whatnot. People just want a phone that works right out of the box without ever having to put in any work.

I just need the battery life right now I almost used my upgrade on the razr maxx but I know I would regret it cuz its last years tech specs,so I just bought a 4s used ...and I'm waiting to see a droid razr hd maxx iPhone 5 and the s3 and the next nexus ....most likely one of these phones will get my upgrade , I want a Samsung phone I think they make beautiful looking hardware and they all get great dev support and can't use android unless it's rooted and romed

Hmmph, that's my exact smartphone history: Storm--> Incredible-->Rezound. It all started with me wanting the iPhone, I admit, but once I got that incredible, I no longer desired the fruit phone.
