Sitting here on my Rezound earlier this week I was getting frustrated and decided to Root. Reading Mr. Smith's sticky guide I unlocked pretty easy, only after that i flubbed something up. I am not sure but I believe I wiped Android off my phone completely and struggled for three days. I finally discovered what I did wrong, but I was at a point where I didn't feel comfortable going forward with RUU and MainVer. I took a chance, relocked and went to the Verizon store to see if they could get me working. The guy really had no solutions aside from factory reset so he ordered me a new phone. Maybe one day I will try to Root again but I think for now I will patiently wait for ICS, three days with no phone is no fun.
Side note: I realized that Verizon's more expensive services support pretty helpful customer service.
