Mobile Virtual Network Operator..basically someone that resells Verizon service. I'm personally going GSM probably with Straight Talk since they use bits and pieces of everyone's pipes.

I am thinking of going with T-Mobile pre paid. It's good coverage in my area and I can save 100 bucks off what I have with Verizon and get 5gb of data instead of 4. You just have to look at coverage for everyone and compare who has the areas you want covered. Verizon coverage is the best in my opinion but I really don't need so much as I don't travel a lot, so the coverage in the northeastern and northwestern U.S is a non issue for me.

Not that I doubt you at all but what works for some places doesn't so good in others. I had att when I lived in Kansas had great service, moved to Oklahoma and it sucked.

Not sure they are any cheaper. I had a friend who swore by US cellular and he switched to Verizon because he said their service was getting pretty bad with dropped calls and such.

I live in central Florida and if T-mo had better service I would switch to them and save $100 a month. unfortunately T-mo sucks here, I would consider sprint but their data speeds aren't good here and I just don't like at&t.
I guess when push comes to shove I will have to decide between T-mo and sprint

USCC is more of a "Super-Regional" carrier. They're big in the Mid-West and New England. One nice thing about US Cellular is they are much more "hands-off" their devices than Verizon or AT&T. Very little bloatware for a branded device. Their Mesmerize was what the Fascinate should have been. They're also getting the SGS III. In terms of price they're not much cheaper but I've read a lot of postive reviews. Since they're not in FL I have no personal experience with them, though.

I'm staying with Verizon. I'm actually going to save $10 a month. Nice!

If I had to switch, it would probably be to Sprint, just because I want to Sprint NASCAR app. Of course, as soon as I do that, NASCAR would announce a new deal with Verizon
