Re: Samsung USA offering $220 cash if you trade-in your HTC Rezou
Has anybody gone for this deal yet? I'm still deciding on whether or not to do it. It seems like a win win for me. It seems hit or miss if the GS3 is better than the Rezound. I'm wondering if anybody has gotten any further and has read what has to be sent to the company. Charger, headphones, sim card, sdcard etc.

Re: Samsung USA offering $220 cash if you trade-in your HTC Rezou
The OP has another thread where he sold his rezound for $185, AND then found this. VZW gave him $185 on the trade it. He did not have to give up the headphones or the sd card. You just turn in the phone I believe. Since pretty much all phones (except crapple) use Micro USB, they don't require chargers to be sent in anymore. I don't know about you, but we have about 6 or 7 micro usb cables around.

Unless you want to make a call....then it appears the ReZ wins hands down. I do agree that the SGSIII is a heck of a device

If I were to do this, I have $50 from a best buy program and now the 220 from Samsung....I think that is what they mean by combining deals.

no there was some kind of promotion back in February you had to sign up for. Yes, to get the 50$ you have to buy it from them

Ok -- will this deal work if I purchase the GSIII from the Marketplace here on the boards or eBay or something? Or do I have to get it from a store or online like direct from VZW or Samsung?

This is so tempting. I have my Rezound and I have my Thunderbolt which they stated would be a $45 dollar check on top of a $220 check when I put in for the quote 1 device after the other. That would take it down to about half price. I found a GSIII on ebay for 479 dollars. Now I just have to go back and find the posts on how to determine if your buying from a reputable dealer/person on ebay and seems to me there are some other things that need to be done when you buy a phone on ebay. Like making sure to buy a phone that works on my carriers service. I've never bought a phone on ebay before so I want to be sure to do it right if I buy it there.

anyone have problems retrieving the old quote? it lets me retrieve it, but then it takes me back to the page to get a new quote. i ask because the current rezound value has dropped to $200.

Re: Samsung USA offering $220 cash if you trade-in your HTC Rezou
Would this apply if I bought an S3 from ebay or craigslist instead of buying new from verizon? Because I refuse to buy another phone on contract from Verizon because they will take away my unlimited data however if I can use this on a ebay bought phone then I would only need to pay an additional $200 which is the same price as buying them on contract.
