Has anyone used the nexus 7 and is the screen up to par with the rezound.I love the screen on my phone and this is the only thing keeping me from getting one as I have read you can see pixels on the screen.

yeah, compared to our Rez, but I honestly have to think it is one of the better tablet screens. Go into the store and compare it vs the ipad and the Galaxy tab and see how you like it.

You have a smartphone vs a tablet here. I have both and have been enjoying my Nexus 7 actually. I guess I came into this with a sound mind. The Rezound is a $500 phone w/o contract. The Nexus 7 is a $200 tablet.

I will just leave that there....

While a smartphone is typically held 12 inches from one's face, tablets are held 15 inches away, requiring around 260+ ppi in order to be an Apple-defined Retina Display.

For a 7 inch screen to meet those requirements, it would need to at least have a resolution of 1600x900 (HD Plus).

In order to get a Rezound-like sharpness display, a 7 inch screen would need a resolution of 1680x1050 (WSXGA+).

if you want a good screen, get the ipad3.i checked out a bunch of tablets and the ipad3 has the best display by far. Yeah, the pixel density isn't as good as the Rezound, but at normal viewing distance, it looks great.

N7 is good for what it is, a $200 tablet.
