Ringtone/notification tones randomly changing
Forgive me if I may have missed this in the past but there are a lot of threads to sift through.
I've noticed that from time to time my notification sounds and ringtones change randomly. Has anyone had this issue, maybe know what causes it? I use app cache cleaner and periodically do a reset, but I haven't noticed any distinct correlation.
Also, when in wifi mode it seems to switch back to 4g if it's been sitting idle for a bit, is there a setting to prevent this?
Thanks for any assistance. - 07-26-2012, 05:25 PM #2
Re: Ringtone/notification tones randomly changing
The notification thing is a known issue on the Rezound. Hopefully it will be fixed with the release of ICS (don't ask when, there's a dozen threads already on that subject.)
As for your wifi, go to Menu>settings>wifi>hit menu again>Advanced>from there you should see an option that says WIFI sleep policy, or something to that effect...select "Never" and that should take care of it."I drank what?" -Socrates - 07-26-2012, 05:31 PM

Awesome, never thought to hit menu again in the wifi settings.
Yeah I keep checking here for the ICS wait drama lol. I jumped on an early release for 2.2 with my Droid Inc. and it caused some issues so I've just been patient this time around. - 07-26-2012, 05:37 PM #4
Re: Ringtone/notification tones randomly changing
one other question, are your ringtones on the sd card. if so and, lets say you have it plugged into the computer as a usb drive, the phone will not be able to access the sd card to play your tone....
i find myself doing that one a lot. I need to just move the tones to the proper spot but I flash too much to have to do it everytime
