Almost 40mbps, that's a faster connection that most wifi setups.

Yea, I haven't seen these kind of speeds since I first got my Rezound, back before everyone and their mother had a RAZR on 4G.

Haha I'm in an area saturated with wireless networks (a couple of car dealerships and coffee places) and not a single one of those networks can stand up to these speeds.

I wish they could get the latency down. It would make normal surfing a bit better. That's my only gripe over 4g. If I gotta download a Rom, I usually do it on 4g, since it dl's at 20+ at my house and my cable internet is at 17 max.

In English? It means you are good to go! lol

You are pulling better speeds than me. The first number (30ish) is how fast you are downloading something the second number (10ish) is how fast you upload/request something. Both your speeds are respectable so do not worry about it

Yep, you're in the clear there.

30mbps = 30 megabytes per second, the amount of data you're downloading at that moment.

And its not a measure of megabytes, its a measure of megabits. I think before my factory reset I hit 41.8x and with that bandwith I was downloading at a real speed of about 6.5 mb per sec.

And please, don't make fun of my slow at home speeds.

Ping is how long it takes for info to go to and from server..... The talk speed

If I posted a thread for every time I see over 40 mbps, I would probably be posting a thread almost every day. Max i have seen on my rezound was over 60mbps.

My usual speed is in the 20Mbps range. That's why upwards of 40Mbps was pretty interesting for me to see.
