When I click to check for updates, it says looking for update then just goes back to previous screen. I do not get the No Update Available message....

Wow that was fast. I'd like some input from those who go from 10 to 12 to see if this is really worth it. I don't want to bother with another wipe if I don't have to. And I suspect the OTA will leave the tens alone.
