Economy Mode under Power setting

I know that the ICS update will improve battery life and other enhancements but when I really needed to get the most out of my battery, I would go into Settings > Power> then set my phone to Economy Mode.

I am not sure exactly what it did, but whatever it was it made a huge difference.

Does anyone know how to either get that feature back or what I can do to mimic that setting with the new ICS update?

Root. There is nothing native that will work. It was very buggy with the radio in 4g areas, that's why they pulled it I think.

I'm pretty hardcore against JD. I paid for it and only used it for 2 weeks, thought it was annoying and not actually improving my battery. It said it was, but for some reason, u was still charging my phone at the same time everyday.
