Re: Another Verizon Tweet
I actually still use my phone for talking too, and VZW is the ONLY carrier that will actually work at my house. Whether I like the prices or not, I'll be sticking with VZW for a long time to come. I suppose this is one of those situations where you really do get what you pay for.

Re: Another Verizon Tweet
My brother had been with Verizon and then switched to Sprint. He was with Sprint for several years but got tired of everyone telling him that they could not hear him. He went back to Verizon. I know a lot of people who have good luck with Sprint, but my brother was not one of them.
Another friend had been on Verizon. She switched to T-Mobile and came back to Verizon in less than a month's time. I used to love Verizon but as a company it has annoyed me lately. That being said, it still has the best phone service of all U.S. carriers.~Janet~ - 08-08-2012, 01:02 PM #4

Re: Another Verizon Tweet
Look, this is one of the few times where the rankings have it right. Verizon is truly number one in everything except customer care(that honor goes to T-mobile). Coverage wise, Verizon is the largest in the US. Fastest Data, best cell reception(unless you're underground). So yeah we are paying a premium for being on the best carrier. Problem being when they start skimping on services to make themselves even more of the proverbial "fat cats". I mean this "no more unlimited data" thing could just be to keep from being over-saturated...who knows. All I know is that I'm not saving any money on the deal.

I used to work for a premium retailer. But have wen a customer since they were known as Air Touch. They can't be beat. PERIOD. Customer service is good. Although there are some call center reps who shouldn't have their jobs. But for the most part their employees give good service

As always, your mileage may vary.
My brother is a pilot; so, he travels a lot. He used to use his own AT&T iPhone til his new employer gave him a Verizon iPhone. I have to say that he has had more dropped calls with Verizon than he did with AT&T. He laughs cuz he says Verizon's reception is great at altitude - better than on the ground.
I've stopped pushing the whole network b.s. It's not true for everyone - especially no guarantee for those who actually travel hundreds of miles in one day.
