New update pushing out to Rezound on West Coast as of 8/12/2012

... so far determined to be real, what's new/changed is unknown so far but it is assumed to be bug fixes from OTA release.

Original thread has the Update.Zip (103.7MB) attached for those wishing to dig into it further.

Same here... but if it is like the last update, only a tiny handful of people get it day one, then day two and three is much bigger roll-out.

If it's fake, it's a pretty darn good one, and officially signed by HTC too...

Also appears to be new versions of Recovery, Firmware, and Kernel... dev's at XDA are picking it apart, but time will tell... I am just passing along what I hear.

It's real. Even the original naysayers have conceded. The same thing happened when the ICS OTA hit. Everyone started bashing the first one who posted that he got it. Poor guy.

It seems the be the long awaited "Global" update, still very few people have gotten it, but some brave souls over at XDA have taken the plunge and installed manually. It is officially signed by HTC...

Recommendation:......STAY AWAY FROM THE XDA forum. You will read 15 pages of insults and doubters before you read anything substantial. So annoying.

Update is real and hopefully will be incorporated in a few roms, or simply rooted stock for us. It's amazing how I have to be reminded daily how many morons walk this earth.

Hope all is well. The ICS update for the Rezound started being pushed out last week and its now available to be manually downloaded by customers by going to the settings > software update > check new.

This is a new update, just appeared Saturday night... it seems to be the long awaited "Global" mode update that VZW promised a long time ago. It is real, it is digitally signed by HTC.
