    Default Rezound Rebooting on Navigator

My Rezound is stock. No root. Running the last pushed ICS update. The issue is that, since the update, my device reboots every time I attempt to use Google Navigation. I have a friend that has this device and experiencing the same issue since the update. Are we the only two unlucky ones in the world??

    Google Maps update reboots phone

Refer to this thread. It has to do with the Maps update. Uninstall the update and you should be good to go.

I'm experiencing reboots also. Which sucks because I use my phones navigator a lot. I keep looking online for possible fixes with no luck. For some reason now my navigator defaults to VZ navigator which really sucks because they have a monthly charge. Hopefully google fixes the problem soon.

Just uninstall the updates to google maps. It will revert back to the version the phone shipped with and the reboots will stop. Navigator is part of maps.

Sorry guys. I posted this before I read the primary thread that addressed this. Still having reboot issues after reverting the updates too.

You also need to make sure Automatic Updating is turned off in the Play Store, go to the Maps applications and make sure the box is NOT ticked, otherwise uninstalling updates does nothing since Play will just automatically update it again.

Uninstall then clear data and restart your phone. Same thing happened to me and now 2 days and all good.

Go to the internet and download 6.9.2. The new Maps 6.10.0 is the problem. Google says it is a Rezound issue. There is a thread here with instructions and a link to 6.9.2.

Its an ICS issue. Not the phone! Uninstall the maps update.

I tried it on my Rooted phone running the Team Venom Rom and did not have this issue at all. I ran it for over an hour with no reboots. I am running Maps 6.10.0, Android 4.0.3, and Sense 4.0.

Google Maps 6.11.1 was released today and it fixed all the reboot issues with my Rezound (w/ ICS) Other users are reporting similar results. Just get it from the Play store.

Yea, the Venom ROM didn't seem to be affected by the bug. With the new update to maps everything seems to be fixed now for everyone else.
