Distorted contact pictures

I had a problem with this before and it was due to syncing contacts with Google so this time i unchecked all contact sync and reposted pictures to my contacts and they are still blurry, can anyone think of a solution

Are these Facebook contacts? Many people have reported that contact pictures for FB contacts have lost quality over the last few weeks to months, I have even noticed it. I haven't seen any official word but if you search you will find this is not limited to the Rezound either, I have seen discussions on the Razr Maxx, Bionic, Sony, and other various android devices for several months. OK, well that blows my whole theory right out of the water... Guess I got nothin' then!

I think it has something to do with ICS cause in Gingerbread all i did was cancel Gmail contact sync and repost pictures anf they were all fine now with ICS cant figure it out. Is everyone's Rezound like this or just mine?
