Ok, been away from android awhile. Is there a problem using Flash 11 on the Rezound? I tried to update or reinstall and get error message.

Phone is stock...

Actually, I have been getting this message since I got a replacement a couple weeks ago and reflashed it to the Global RUU... I thought it was just something on my end but I got the same when I tried it another Rez at work that we just reflashed.

I know I am not on the rez anymore but I loaded it up the other day on my sgs without issue.

Maybe just switch to dolphin will do the trick for you

The problem is getting the Adobe Flash app to load from the Play Store... it isn't working for some reason. I did find a work around, I went to apktop and downloaded the apk and side-loaded it, works fine. Go here: Adobe Flash Player 11 11.1.115.20 [Android 4.x] - APKTOP and use the Download from APKTOP link towards the bottom, make sure you have Unknown Sources enabled or it won't install.

Oh, sorry, that was discontinued by adobe after ics. If you did not have it installed on gb, or wiped and went to ics, you cannot get it from the store. It has to be sideloaded

Yep, that worked. Thanks!

Yes adobe discontinued service in the play store in august and no more updates even if you do load it off your sd card.

I just downloaded. Not sure what I would do without you all!

You can also still get the latest (last) Flash from Adobe's website instead of from a third-party source (Flash has enough security holes as it is without worrying about a hacked copy): Archived Flash Player versions. Scroll down to Flash Player for Android 4.0 Archives and grab the highest version (11.1.115.27), then sideload it with HTC Sync or whatever.

What are you needing Flash for? Just curious. I have it but just didn't reload it since ICS.

As far as more... work-friendly sites, basically any content site for which you want to view the desktop version is very likely to still use Flash (because Flash on PCs has never been at issue, even with Apple). One site you might actually want to visit on a mobile phone is CNN.com, which doesn't even bother with video at all on its mobile version, so to view videos you need to be on their desktop version (and have Flash).
