Why I think Official via OTA is near for Gingerbread

Until today I was able to reject MR2 Upgrade but today it gave me no option to reject, I could only defer. Which tells me they want everyone to upgrade to MR2 before Gingerbread upgrade

Based on leaked 2.07.605.1 and 2.10.605. the answer seems to be "Yes". Though I have seen enough promised tech features that never see the light of day... Time will tell.

Thanks BS! Since the MR2.5 update from Verizon my signal went from an average of 3 bars to 1. I have friends who have 4 to 5 bars on there phones while I have 1 bar. One time it said "No Service;" you have no idea how mad I was when I have a state of the art phone and they sport around with older phones.

The mr2.5 radio is actually older than the ota mr2. Try the ota radio out

My update is the OTA update. I never got around to loading it myself.

MR2 is the update the pushed about 5 weeks ago that fixed the multiple reboot issue, along with other bug fixes. It was not the Gingerbread update.

A. They can't hold it back forever.
B. Just about all the other phones have already got it.
C. They're running out of leaked update numbers.

MR2 is the second "Manufacturer's Release" (update) of the Thunderbolt. It was the second OTA. You can tell if you have it 'cuz your software number will read 1.70.605.0.
