Sense 4.0 and ICS

I wondering if the current ICS on Galaxy Nexus still has that feature that allows you to hide apps from your app drawer does anyone know? With Sense 4.0 will it have that hide app feature as well? Sense 4.0 so far looks really great but would really like that ICS feature of hidding unwanted apps from drawer. I can't stand clutter from bloatware and apps I just do not use.

I'm not sure, but do be warned that an "official" ICS release that gets put out for the Thunderbolt will be Sense 3.6.

Sense 3.6 vs Sense 4.0= Sense 4.0 the winner for me.

3.6 won't take advantage of the Beats API (doesn't apply to the Thunderbolt anyway). Other aesthetic differences. Search YouTube for more info.

I wanted to suggest you try some of the 3rd party launchers - esp Go Launcher. They all have the feature you asked for.

Home Switcher will make switching between launchers easier, too.

Sense 3.6 is a refreshed version of old, bloated sense. Same style, same size, same bloat.

I believe it was reported on HTC's Facebook page that the Thunderbolt will get Sense 4.0 with ICS. As to hiding apps in the app drawer, I find it more useful to just put shortcuts to frequently used apps on either the home screen or the screen to the left or right of home than going into the app drawer at all.

Nope. All its getting 3.6.

Only the new one series phones will be getting sense 4.0. Any other HTC phone that is getting ics will be getting sense 3.6

My bad, it is Sense 3.6 according to XDA here.

And according to the Engadget Sense 3.6 review here:

"Disabling apps: To our relief, HTC didn't take away the ability to disable apps. We should note, however, that our preview is based on how Sense 3.6 functions on unlocked devices, so we can't be completely certain that carriers won't meddle with this functionality to suit their own bloatware."

+1 on Homeswitcher....awesome program. I have 4 different launchers on my phone....I have yet to set up the other ones...I am a creature of habit with the stock SENSE one....but I will do it some day soon.
