Getting "SERVICE UNAVAILABLE" in software update.. is it time!?

I had noticed 2 days ago, but it also happens on my brother's Samsung continuum phone so I think is just some network issues witb Verizon servers

Happens to me every once in a while when I check for update. Just check again and you will see "no update available " Of coarse the last 2 days I have been checking and the checking window goes away and I get no pop up window that says no update is available......weird

Hopefully next week it will come but only time will tell.

I got this for the last update and AGAIN for this update...

The only way around it (for me at least) is to switch to CDMA only using the Phone Info app which takes it down to 1x speed. Then the update appears. Sucks but I don't know another way around it. Staying on 3G or 4G always gets that error message for me no matter how many times I try.

Downloading now...REALLY slow, of course. Ugh.

Thanks for your help, this worked for me. I found that once the download starts you can switch back to CDMA + LTE/EvDo auto in the phone info app and it will download in seconds. Just an FYI.

Switched to 1x and still getting error that no software available at this time. Any other ideas to to try and force this OTA?

Is you error "Service Unavailable" or "No Software Available" ?

Mine was like that all day til couple hours then i got the update..

I've been getting this same error for quite some time. I just tried the CDMA trick and it it worked for me! After confirming the upgrade, I immediately switched back to 4G, but the upgrade is still downloading very slowly. Oh well, at least I'm getting it now. Thanks for the tip!
