T9 text input doesnt work with launcherpro?

so i recently put launcherpro on my thunderbolt and i really love all the customization i can do with it. but one of the things that bugs the cr*p outta me is that the T9 dialer doesnt work right away on it. what i mean is that with the htc sense ui i can get the T9 dialer automatically. but for launcherpro i have to punch in the letter then delete it and put it in again to get the T9 dialer to work. anyone else experience this or even know what im talking about?

U meant flexT9 keyboard, if that's what you referring to, I have launcherpro And also use flexT9 and it works just perfect.

sorry thats not what i meant... let me try to better explain myself... when using htc sense when i press the dialer button and press "7" "4" etc etc itll start showing names. but only in launcher pro when i use the dialer to search for a name it wont find it right away. it makes me clear the field and punch it in again for the T9 to work in the dialer...
