Official/Unofficial 2.3.4 Gingerbread RUU Leaked

This just came up on Twitter don't know if this can be used to update from unrooted stock but here we go guys

Speed as far as UI is drastically improved. Scrolling within apps is no fluid instead of jittery like it was on Froyo. Wifi works great as does 3G others have reported 4G as working great too. I haven't come across a single bug yet. I will keep this OP updated with any. Sense 2.1 us Sense 2.1 check it out on videos of the Incredible 2 is basically the same with the exception of the wifi toggle within the Notification quick settings being a short cut to wifi settings instead of the actual toggle. What really strikes me as odd is the Quadrant score being considerably lower while the device is actually amazingly faster. When applying Widgets to the home screen the list of Widgets just pops right up instantly. When hiding apps in lpp the list pops up right away and it took about 30-45 seconds on Froyo. All in all I'm very happy with my Gingerbread especially since I've been on Gingerbread on other devices most of the year.

Thanks for the info, this means developers will be able to build some really dangerous ROMs and hopeful this will get the few bugs worked out...

YES! Ive been waiting for the Das Bamf Team to makes some Toms. All they've put out are stupid Roms.

Ha Ha.... Love those auto correct options...

BAMF has done some wonderful roms but the latest build was made from a already modified RUU and now with access to a clean one the few bugs I have seen will most likely be in the past soon...

Yes you can follow the link in the first post instructions are there its very easy. I'm not rooted nor was I and I'm running Gingerbread 2.3.4 on my lovely ThunderBolt. Its damn fast!

This download is taking forever! I've been downloading the file on a 30 MBPS connection for nearly an hour and I'm half way home.

lol i have still not been pushed the MR2 update!!! But to install this would wipe your phone correct.

I'm planning on trying this build out and have a stock non-rooted TB as well. My main setback is WiFi connection, can anyone confirm if WiFi works or not, thanks!

Correct all RUU's factory reset your phone.
Essentially this is storing the file on your phone unzip, then boot into your bootloader, and select the update.zip file and it creates a whole new phone.

I'm going to go lay down and watch some television while I play around with the Gingerbread update. However, as of right now, my local Wi-Fi Network is working flawlessly. I will post any updates tonight if I run into any problems.

Quick observation. When docked in the HTC dock, it opens up an official dock app similar to the Motorola dock. You can even set it to automatically activate a hot spot and other features. Winning!

I don't yet have a dock, but that sounds cool. Are you stock or rooted ?
