Camera no longer works....

Verizon has no ability to remote kill on any Android device. Only Google has that power and to my knowledge, has only done it once.

Camera worked fine after I updated to 2.11 GB. Now it doesn't work at all. I tried downloading a couple different camera apps including the honeycomb camera. Keeps saying that the application "camera" does not work. I'm lost.

Did you try a battery pull? Did that do anything? How about >menu > settings> applications> manage applications> all Select camera then clear data force stop. Did that do anything? Does the camcorder work?

I did a factory reset and pull. There is no option for clearing data under the application.

I did a reboot and now Google Talk FC and camera opens a black screen that fades to home screen..... very odd

You should have a clear data & clear cache option there. If not I would recommend re flash the rom with a complete wipe.

It has to be the new Google voice update. I just downloaded it restarted my phone and now I have the same problem. I uninstalled the app with no luck.

Numerous people are having the same problem across all ROMs. Don't understand. Its like Verizon decided to zap the camera out of no where, lol.

Everytime I restart it says that there's an issue with gvoice and I've already uninstalled it. This sucks.

2.11 GB RUU leak. 2.07 radio (both). Got the update for voice. No issues.

Running uber BAMF preview and after the voice update my camera stopped working just flashed the camera.zip and that fixed it.

I downloaded the camera.zip. Now do I flash via hboot? Do I rename it?

No need to rename it just flash in recovery like a rom. You mitt want to make a backup first if you don't have a recent one. I also wiped the cache before flashing but I don't think its required.
