Did i just read this right, we get the live streaming for free because we have a 4g device?

It still requires Verizon Video subscription which will cost $10/month.

According to Verizon's website here:

"GET NFL MOBILE FREE ON ALL 4G LTE DEVICES**"

"**NFL Mobile is free during the 2011–2012 NFL season. Verizon Video subscription req'd for video content."

At the bottom in small print it says its free for the 2011-2012 season. Not sure what the "video subscription" is that they reference.

When I first started using it, I think it mentioned it was all free until 1 October or something like that.

Edit: I just opened it and saw the message you were talking about. It says to upgrade to 4G and get it for free. I dont think that includes those of us who already have 4G. Kind of like DirecTV giving away NFL ticket to new customers but customers like me that already have their service have to play $300+ to get it.

I upgraded to a thunderbolt back in may and I got the message to upgrade to a 4G device to get it for free. It let me hit continue and it works fine.

I even called vzw to make sure. (Maybe cuz I have unlimited data w lte) rep said free all this season. I made her note it in my file.
Great picture quality. No stutter. VZW really came through for us with this one!

The video is free this season for all 4g lte phone owners. Its free till october for 3g owners then $10 monthly

Just tried this out, it showed me the screen saying its free when upgrading to 4g but just had a continue button. Hit that and it worked fine (games just about 40 seconds off from live tv). Didn't make me sign up for any other subscriptions though? Hopefully it doesn't add anything without me knowing

Stock. Not rooted. No special update. It's free for all 4G customers. You just need to download NFL mobile from market.

No go on CM7 right now. Worked on the last two ROMS I tried. Shifts3ns3 and currently on BAMF Forever 1.0.2

Thanks. I'm flashing Forever right now. This free NFL for 4g is too good to pass up. It's like when I found out google nav was free. Only way this day could get better is if the Cowboys hadn't blown the game

Yeah, that was a major collapse in the 4th. I'm a Rams fan so I had a bittersweet day as well. Thank God for fantasy football and off-shore sportsbooks.

I had a little trouble installing the app but after a hard reset it worked fine.
Way too many features to list but pictures and video work great. Also works fine on wifi.
I
suggest being on a charger or extended battery while watching....

It lets you watch NFL Redzone, Thursday games, Sunday night games.....not sure which other games. Its not all of them, that's for sure. Just a select few.
