If they won't re install you need to go back to XDA and redown load the GB version.

Menu- personalize - skins- menu- delete option.

I have that are kind of crappy and would like to get them off my phone.

Q: Why skin is downloading as ".bin" file?A: Because you are using browser in your phone to download skin. Use your PC browser to download or use XDA official Android app and download via it.

I too had some of these for Froyo. I downloaded and installed the GB versions and two issues I noticed:

I can't uninstall them like I could on Froyo
There is an issue with the skin refreashing the menu bar. This is fixable but you need to install things in recovery so I assume that needs root.

I went back to using the stock one called Slate. I like this one but wish it was more transparent.

I used the browser on my phone to download it (but you have to keep the browser open until it's finished downloading) and it works great. Then I use the AppInstaller App to install it and BINGO new skins. Not rooted.

You could simply name the file to whatever you want followed by .apk and all you need to do is install it using a file explorer. It works for my non rooted phone.

Note that actual Sense3.0 skins isn't compatible with Sense2.1

can i download that revolution skin with stock gingerbread sense? im not rooted but want to be but limited to computer time and knowledge. know my phones like the back of my hand but when it comes to computers im blank. I work on computer all day but but administrator has locked out plugging my device up.lol

I don't believe that was what was meant. There is an actual skin called "Sense3", designed apparently to look like sense 3.0, that is one of the nicest looking ones I've seen.

All m skins from XDA are gone. Even the one skin that actually bought on the market won't show. It install but nowhere to be found to apply it. Stuck with the same 5 lame skins that came with the phone. I have all the apk skin file from XDA saved. They just won't installed.

If you downloaded the skins before GB, then they were for Froyo and they won't work. If you just downloaded them from the link that was posted earlier you should be good to go. Make sure you name the file "skin name".apk (if dloading on phone) and use a program like Es File Explorer to install. Locate file in download folder and click on it to start the installation.
