Charging Question

when i plug my phone into a charger [house wall] the screen stays lit. i know there is a way to stop this just cant remember how.

Well, there's the obvious - press the POWER button once you've plugged it in and the screen will go off and stay off until you press POWER again.

I don't see anything else obvious that would provide a screen timeout that's different when the phone is plugged in.

Mine honors the timeouts I have set even when plugged in. Unless I am in an app that specifically keeps the screen on.

Settings --> Applications --> Development --> Stay Awake
