App for This?
Hello, and Merry Christmas Everyone!
There seems to be a problem with me waking up at 9 am after going to sleep at 4 am. But seems like at 10 or 11 is a good time for me to wake up. Is there an app that will have an alarm for 9 am just for that slight chance that I do wake up, and if I don't dismiss it, it will ring at 10 and 11? And it will ring 2 for each time.
Seems like there might not be for this specifically but if there is, what's it called?
Thanks. - 12-25-2011, 12:35 PM #2
Re: App for This?
Just open up the Alarm Clock already on the device, they have option for days to sound and also reminder alerts, also you can use any ringer or alert on device...

Re: App for This?
If I understand you correctly, you want an alarm to go off at 9, alarms to go off at 10 and 11 only if you haven't dismissed the alarm, and for it to only ring twice each time? I use Alarm Clock Extreme, to do it with that app just set an alarm for 9, a snooze duration of 1 hour, auto snooze set to 2 or 3 seconds, and the max number of snoozes to 2. I'm sure any alarm clock app would have similar functionality though.

Re: App for This?
I would recommend you take a look at Gentle Alarm also. You can set an alarm time of say, 10AM with a pre-alarm to go off an hour before (I think 15 minutes is the default, 60 minutes is the max). The pre-alarm can be configured to be quieter and play for a shorter time (and a different ringtone/alarm/mp3), and if you don't wake up and shut it off, the regular alarm will go off at it's time. Then you can add snooze options too, but I don't use them so I can't speak about how they work (my cat won't stand for me to snooze the alarm, she wants to get fed as soon as she sees me move

Me too! I have it set to be the "flick gesture up" on my app drawer, using Go launcher. I also use Widgetlocker + Fancy Widgets to have a big clock on the top of my lock screen. A tap anywhere on the digits takes me right to ACE. The next alarm time sits on the right of the clock. Oh, I almost forgot...when saving your alarm, a little notification at the bottom comes up telling you the exact time you have for sleepage!
Here's a couple screenshots:

---This alarm is set for XX hours and XX minutes from now--

Edit: The alarm also has an option to take XX seconds until reaching max volume for a more gradual wake up experience. - 12-27-2011, 08:13 PM #13

If you can do Alarm Xtreme hard/hardest ones easily upon waking up then good job! ( This is coming from someone getting a MSE in EE)
