Default I think anyone who bought a TBolt on March 17, 2011 is a genius!

The Tbolt is a phone that was way ahead of its time. The 1st 4G phone. What a thrill to participate in the new 4G rollout across VZW. Fun, fun, fun. And here we are 10 months later with countless newly released 4G phones that don't offer any significant improvements over the TBolt that we bought months ago. I think our timing was perfect. At the end of the typical two year contract (i.e. actually 20 months making it 11/17/2012) the timing for a new 4G phone is perfect! 'Cuz, it's looking like it'll be then before any significant new offerings will be available. I'm so proud of myself! Hehe... How 'bout you?

No kidding, Verizon thread or not the way you worded your comment sounded like you were calling it the first 4G phone. Yes I know it's Verizon first 4G phone.

Right, it's Sprint. I have a Sprint pre-paid phone. I can't even keep voice coverage in the Denver metro area, much less 4G. Sprint has a long way to go for LTE coverage.

I guess if your a Verizon customer... I am, you know lte is the real 4g after it came out the others don't register as 4g... just my opinion. I bought tbolt on 1 year and am eligible now for an upgrade but don't see much dual cores can do that I can't. Don't play the games you have to pay more than $1 for so I will be good with this phone until a quality 4-core comes out in the fall....

While you guys debate that issue, I will also say that I agree that the TBolt is still the best out there. I have an upgrade available with another in 2 months. Maybe in 2 months there will be something so significantly better that I would consider worth moving on to.

would have to say the Thunderbolt was a decent phone but going from it to the razr there is no comparison. The razr is miles ahead of it dual core makes a lot of difference actually being able to make calls. Signal strength, screen switching between 3g and 4g is a lot faster. Not hating on on the Thunderbolt. but to say that no phones offer much of an improvement is crazy you either have not used a newer phone or in denial just my 2 cents

Did you make a comparison first to the Rezound and the Nexus too before you decided your purchase on the Razr?

Yes I am with you as of yet I have not found any real world changing phone. However the soon to come HTC Edge sounds like it might just be that phone which is looking like it might be here in few months

No I have not had the chance to play with them.verizon offered me the razr or rezound as a replacement to the Thunderbolt. As I was already having problems with htc and signal issues I went with the razr. Always knew motorola had very good radios in there phones so I chose the razr over the rezound.due to the fact I do work in the oil field and never had signal with the tb. Razr has been great But I'm sure in the performance department razr, nexus, and rezound are somewhat on par with eachother. The most important thing to me is signal I think moto wins in that department

i just wish they would have another update to fix the auto sync email issue I'm having since the last update. Until the last update last month the tbolt has been rock solid for me.

More like 500 feet ahead and motor blur says otherwise. I have 3 bipnca too and the are great but not THAT far ahead in hardware.

you can knock moto blur if you have not used it on a new moto phone its not as in the your face as sence is closer to stock android then sence is and does not use as much memory. And to me dual core has made a lot of difference with playing game I mean the Thunderbolt struggles with reckless getaway unless you overclock it. Everything on verizon is better right now bionac, razr, nexus, and rezound that's just the way technology is it gets better. To say it's not that far ahead I don't know would you buy a single core pc and try to compare it to a new pc I don't think anyone would Thunderbolt served its purpose it is a good phone but it's not the best phone on verizon

I am glad I did not get the one year contract when I bought my Thunderbolt. If I did I might have wilted to my tech envy and gotten GN. Thank god I thought head like you well not exactly probably just luck. I was actually the next nexus was going to be a motorolla or sony which are two comes I appreciated but rather not have. I prefer HTC those imo I feels in the style depart of late they have become simple and plain.

P.S I bought my Thunderbolt on Wirefly so it was like $200 or less I missed on out when Amazon was selling it for $180 when they came out. Hoping nexus 4 has style,LTE, Beats Audio, and is made by HTC. Can we please get a phone that is black front to black and have white option front and back.

Anyone disappointed in Samsung and HTC just changing back cover on phones to different colors and not the whole phone?

What is everyone deal with spelling sorry my phone/tablet auto corrects words and I don't read over my post 9 times to make sure all the words are correct lol. Is it that serious man? It's like most people on here just attack people and try to be assholes this is a place where we voice our opinion. It's not that serious if people don't use correct punctuation, or spell things right. its not a collage exam.
