Font of unread email

How do I make the font of unread emails darker? Sorry for the fundamental question. If this is my first android. I have had an iPhone for the last 4 years.

Also, this is a company phone so I dont think that I can root it.

Sorry, I dont know if this is possible or if it is just a really easy question. This is the first phone I have had in the last 4 years that wasnt an iPhone or a Blackberry. Please help.

I know it doesnt seem like a big issue, but it is really driving me nuts.

I'm not sure there is anything you can do from the stock email app to control the brightness of the font. However there are other apps in the market that could have the ability to change the font brightness. I'm not really up on those apps as I don't have a problem with the stock app. But if you check the market there should be something to your liking. I've heard a lot of people say nice things about K9 mail.

You can make the font larger on your emails but you can't change the font on unread emails. Sorry
