HTC TB till the day I die
I warn you this is just a person on a box handing you soap. You were warned it's just soap.
Funny thing about my thunderbolt was really glade to move away from my G1 and move to better network with better phones IMO. Then when coming up to point of the TB beginning announced @ MWC I was for sure I want get the TB on one year contract. The reason for 1 year contract cause just was not quite phone I wanted but I want jump on verizon and get that unlimited 3G/4G LTE while it lasted. Eventually when phone came out I got it on a two year contract because of cost. I really could deny the the deal wirefly was giving. Now that I have had my thunderbolt for about a year I really don't see my self getting another phone any time soon. For me it seems Internationally or the gsm carriers get the HTC devices I would love to have. I really want the One X but I am happy with verizon network though not happy with there selection of devices not say they are bad phones just not what I want. I really with the carriers in states were more like the international carriers because they seem the share the love with having same flagship devices across the carriers.
The carriers in states try to hard to differentiate themselves from devices that are solid international devices. Why do they have to be rebrand, redesigned and tweaked to be something else in states. In some case it's for the better and others the worse. I know I am just pouting but damn I like the One X how it is and I don't want it changed but hell I doubt I will see it on Verizon anyways.
Hoping next year I finally get phone I wanted rather than settle with.

Re: HTC TB till the day I die
I am happy with my Bolt. Will be one yr having it in August. LOVE it runs great, does everything I need. I doubt I will upgrade. Has to be as decent as this phone.

Re: HTC TB till the day I die
I can't really vote as I'm not looking for a new phone any time soon. Need a poll option like "Bought TB Day 1 keeping until a true successor arrives".

The problem with Verizon and Sprint is network technology - CDMA. Most of the world uses GSM, like AT&T & T-Mobile. The only differences are in frequency settings, so it's easier for a manufacturer to make phones for GSM because they'll sell globally. Verizon phones are only sold in the States. Do the math and it's easy to see why GSM carriers get so many devices.

It's not your dream phone.
It's the one after that!©

Where was it that I read that HTC would be coming out with a 5" screen monster for Verizon later this year, a la Note? Now THAT I would leave my Bolt for.
Or.. Maybe I'd get a new number and have two phones. (Sorry Bolty, that better?)
