Default Thank you Devs! I'm moving on from the Tbolt.

I just wanted post a quick thank you to all of the developers that have been creating custom roms and trying keep things fresh while we wait for what seems to be forever to get ICS. While I have tried to be patient waiting for a cool custom new ICS rom, I can no longer do so. I've upgraded my phone to the new Samsung Galaxy S3. I have not yet decided if I will root the phone yet, and will try to give it a chance to perform. I hope it will be as good to me as my trusty Thunderbolt has been since I rooted it. I will most likely hang around this board for further updates and will probably try some of the other roms that are available. I wish everyone well.

Yes. Still on Verizon and unfortunately they encrypted their bootloader, so the SIII can't be rooted.

Pretty sure thatthe s3 is going to be my next phone. Just felt great in my hand. Just don't know if I can get used to the weird hue to the screen. I am used to white being white. LOL.

Well, a couple of days back I too went to the 'dark side'. I switched to a 32gb SIII. I have had Samsung devices in the past, and had a poor opinion of them. I prefer Sense over TouchWiz, for sure.
The reason, well, I just had an itch for something new basically. Plus the battery life of the Thunderbolt was an annoyance (the SIII isn't too great either), and the occasional lag was annoying.
But I like the idea of a removeable SD card and battery. The SIII has this. If HTC ever gets a new device on Verizon, I suspect that it wouldn't have either of these, so I gave up waiting for something that likely would not meet my hopes.
