Headphone Jack

My headphone jack is not working completely. I believe the headphones are not going all the way into the jack, but I do not see anything blocking it. Any suggestions?

Do you think something is in the jack? Lint maybe? I know you say you don't see anything but maybe try putting a small wire in there to fish out debris? Hard to say without seeing it, but something has to be preventing it from going in all the way.

stupid question, does the headphone jack go all the way down? It seems that its not going down all the way, but the headphone Icon comes on on the screen. Any other suggestions I can try?

My Galaxy S2 headphone jack recently stopped working and I did the same. Fished out a bit of fluff with a sewing needle. Sorted.
