My Bolt, which I had never had any problems with (no random reboots when that was a real problem, solid data connection, very good battery life thanks to the extended battery, and none of the other issues that so many people experienced), has started having problems lately. Data drops? Check. Random reboots? At least once a day. GPS? It works sporadically. And the one thing I can't deal with above all others? My ringer keeps shutting itself off, causing me to miss calls, and seeing how this is my business phone, that's a deal breaker.

As a result, I started looking for a used phone to get me through the coming months until the M7, S4, or XPhone (whichever has the specs I'm looking for) comes out. Luckily, I was able to grab a barely used DNA for a fair price from a great member here at Android Central, and I should have it by Wednesday at the latest. This is bittersweet, because I really like my Bolt, and it has been the perfect phone for me.

In any event, I just want to extend a huge THANK YOU to the entire Bolt community! I learned a ton from so many people here over the last two years, and enjoyed the camaraderie of this forum. I'll still be around, but I wanted to be sure to say thanks for everything!

I went from a Bolt to a DNA as well, but did it through upgrade. didn't ever have any problems with my Bolt, even at the end. Just wanted something with JB. I'm really enjoying my DNA & have kept my Bolt as a media player (have lots of audiobooks & vids on it)

Sorry to see you go. Let those of us who are still here know how it turns out with the DNA or if you switch to something else. Good luck.

Thanks. I will definitely report back. I'm very interested to see the differences, and how big they are, in processor speed, screen tech, data speeds and connection, and anything else I might notice.

Sent from my ASUS TF5000T.

Good Luck and thanks for all the advice. I have the Rezound now and its what the TB should have been (i.e. it works!). When I went from the 480 TB to the 720 Rezound I saw differences so now that you have 1080 let us know how the porn looks,LOL!

Hey mighty, no thanks necessary. In fact, thank YOU for your help. Though it is sad to let go of a phone that's been good to you, it's still exciting to get a new phone. :) Good luck with your new "toy!"

So long, and thanks for all the fish! :p Ok, that was corny. Seriously, good luck with the new phone and thank you for all the help here when I had the Thunderbolt. It was bitter sweet for me too when I moved to the Note 2. I still have the Thunderbolt as a backup and still look at it fondly. It was a great phone for me, just felt a need to move on to something new. Anyway, see you around the forums. :)

I moved on last week to the Galaxy 3...the battery life is AMAZING.

Although I had 10 good months with my Bolt, the last 2 months were annoying with the data drops.

Very cool. If someone would have sold me a used S3 for a fair price, I would have gotten that phone too, but I'm good with the DNA for now. I don't know yet if it is the phone for me in the long term, but if for some reason I got stuck with it, I wouldn't be that upset!

Synycalwon, I'm pretty sure I learned more from you than anything I might have helped you with. Thank you.

TboltJ, everything looks better on this amazing screen! ;)
