Great pics. But still want to see what Motorola is releasing at CES.

Another downer is the placement of the charging port. Can't use the kickstand horizontally and charge at the same time.

Considering I hold my Fascinate for two hours at a time on my weekly commute to work watching video, what I wouldn't give for a kickstand.

I will use the kickstand every nigh instead of a dock. I think it looks great and can't wait to get one.

My next phone regardless. Only downside I can imagine is sound quality from the speaker when you're just holding the phone and don't have the kickstands out. I can only assume it would be quite muffled.
Other than that its a beauty. I love the color scheme. I mean I love my dinc but I'm still not a fan of the red accents. This seems less in your face.

If the kickstand is closed chances are your hand would be covering the speaker anyways, and if its in your hand ya prolly would be wearing headphones right?

I almost always listen to my music thru my phone's speakerphone. But it seems like such obvious design question that I would think HTC has addressed it. (I hope)

Sometimes,when I'm listening to music in the background. Othertimes the phone will be on the desk or on the seat next to me.Realisticly,I don't think it'll be an issue.I can't wait to be the proud father of a DOLT.

I will say that the kickstand being closed does not impair sound quality much and those that say they wont use it would be surprised. I think it makes a stunning alarm clock.. Kinda wobbly with placed vertically though..

sense has been updated from the version thats on the EVO.. same as whats on the desire Hd and other new sense devices. looks the same with minor tweaks and I believe HTC has cloud based services online as well. None present on test devices yet but that could change.

Hmm guess I will have to wait at this point I'm trying to decide is it beat to get this or wait a little bit and get a tegra2 device with yearly upgrades I don't think this will be a bad choice though I doubt I will preorder I want to hold my next device and test it before I buy. I have a 3 and 4 year old so being able to take quick pics is important to me. I don't want to have to carry around a second device just to take pics

HTC makes the best smartphones on the market period. I sell phones for all the carriers and play with every new android that comes out...HTC's Sense UI is far supperior than touch whiz or moto blur... I have been waiting for this phone since it was first leaked...HTC for life

While I agree sense is the best skin I think the optimus 2x and speedy could be the killer phones if they made their way to Verizon especially if it were the speedy with the ips screen. So in the us yes HTC may make the best but probably not for long
