when was that?

March 1st - I assume this is the quote:

"But as we progressed down the LTE range and bring more devices to the table, we will be launching the HTC Thunderbolt very shortly here. And then that will give you a flavor of what our tiered pricing structure will look like going forward. "

I'm confused.... I just called my local Verizon and they said the phone is on hold indefinitely until HTC resolves an issue with the Skype application. According to him Verizon does not want HTC to release the phone with Skype. Until they remove it the phone will not be released. I don't know who to believe, I just wish Verizon would just make a announcement.

I'm going to call other Verizon stores to see what they are saying.

That's what my verizon and best buy store said last week

Corporate store are required to activate phone right? I would love to walk into the local store and buy 2 on Thursday, but don't want my wife's line activated since she'll be at work.

Depends on the store. They're not required to activate it but a lot want to. Usually when I buy from a corporate store, I'll call, tell them what phone I want, tell them that I'm a physician, have limited time, and want to activate it at home and just pick it up, and it hasn't been a problem.

I am officially quite excited for thursday now :) I just have to hope like hell I have no problem exchanging my iphone for T-Bolt.. I got it 2 weeks ago, have 30 days so no problem there, however the freaking thing gets scratches soo easily that it's not even funny, it has a few decent size scratches on the back that you can see in direct light.. Have to hope they dont inspect it, deny the exchange because of it :( lol

How did you get the 30 days?... They switched to 14 day returns the day the I*hone came out?...
