Unable to save ringtone attachments from VZW to Thunderbolt

Is anyone else having an issue when you purchase a ringtone from the Verizon Wireless website it cannot be downloaded the ringtone from the text message sent to you? I receive a message stating unable to download attachment. I tried it from my brother's Droid X and it worked fine. The one thing I noticed is that the ringtone attachment when it's sent to my Thunderbolt there is a green lock on it, but on my brother's Droid X there is no green lock, anyone here have any ideas why it is doing this?

I am having the same problem! I e-mailed Verizon, but have not heard back yet. I'll let you know if I find anything out.

Why wont you just make your own ringtones ;D
Instead of wasting $$$ Lolz

there are so many apps that let u download or make ringtones from your own phone, the dumbest thing u can do it buy a ringtone. :-\

or you can make one on your pc and then just e-mail it to your 10 digit number(don't forget the 1)@vzwpix.com

Save Ringtone Without Getting it Locked

If you open or play the ringtone attachment in a message on the Thunderbolt, the attachement becomes locked. This seems to be part of the improved digital rights management on the phone. :'(

When you receive the message, immediately touch and hold the message text until a popup options menu is displayed, and then select the "Save audio". Don't touch the attachment - this is where you get into trouble.
