Yeah that speed test is slower than what i get also. I normally get 12 down all the time.

wow, 12 down thats awesome

The slowest I've gotten is 5 (at home) the fastest was 34.65 (at work).

Yeah, the speed test app is broken.
Here are the numbers that I am getting on my laptop using speedtest.net while connected to my TB with the hotspot feature. They are Exactly what I was expecting. And they are better than my home cable connection, except with 77ping instead of 15 or 20 (which is still great!) - 03-18-2011, 03:53 PM #13

Updates Using Web Browser
So yes, confirming that there is a bug in the Speedtest App (not that I ever doubted you guys).

30 down and 20 up with 110 ms of latency, which is consistent with what I've seen with my USB LTE modem. I'm also in one of the original test markets, and Verizon did say these markets would see higher performane than others.
But according to 4G product manager Chris Whitfield, there's something special about Seattle, Boston, Dallas and some cities in Ohio, which were part of Verizon's first wave of 4G build out. "Early adopters should expect more throughput" in these markets
