Wifi on phone that hasn't been activated

Is it possible to use wifi if the phone hasn't been activated yet?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can, if it hasn't been activated or doesn't have a sim card it will bug you about that whenever you turn it on, but once you go past that I think you can just tell it to find you wifi and connect and you should be able to use it for internet and what not

The reason I'm sure you can is because one of the TBolt videos from Wirefly was done on a non-activated phone via WiFi.

thats exactly what I was thinking, I remembered in the video Bob specifically said we're using wifi to test it out cause they didn't have a sim card and this was 2-3 weeks before the phone came out
