Voice and data at the same time?

i had an htc rep come into my verizon store earlier and told me that because of the sim the TB could do voice and data.

he said it wont work everywhere but it was working near baltimore

my TB is arriving tomorrow via amazon

has anyone tired this yet ?

works very well for me. My verizon rep said I had to be in a 4g area to do it but you do not. It works fine in 3g and my voice quality and internet speed has not diminished at all.

We don't have 4G in my area yet but I did try it in 3G and it worked.

Im in the Baltimore area and did a little 4G talk and surf yesterday seemed to work fine for me, haven't tried in 3G yet ... well because most of where I go its always 4G

The thunderbolt has an sv-do chip in it. That chip allows data over cdma rev A (3g) while it carries voice over cdma 1x. As along as you have a 3g signal you can voice and data at the same time. When you are in 4G, the sim card takes care of the data while 3g takes care of the voice.
